Sears Holdings Corporation (SHC) is building Shop Your Way (SYW) into the most dynamic, innovative and rewarding social shopping experience by bringing together technology, retail, rewards and social into a virtual platform that lets members discover, shop & share, while enabling them to earn points and receive valuable benefits across a wide variety of physical and digital formats through shopyourway.com, Sears, Kmart, Lands’ End, my Gofer and an expanding network of retailers and merchants including 1-800flowers & Life Lock. The Manager, Integrated Marketing – Celebrity Engagement will support the Director in the creation of exciting and engaging brand experiences for members through current and future SHC celebrity affiliations (e.g., Sofia Vergara, the Kardashians, Sandra Lee, Ty Pennington, etc.). The Manager will help develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans on assigned projects to drive both celebrity and member engagement across all customer touch points – social, mobile, in-store, digital, importantly, on shopyourway.com – and in conjunction with SYW counterparts, storewide and business unit colleagues. Includes integration of all marketing channels, promotions, advertising, and .com and in-store experience.
RESPONSIBILITES: 1. Develop and execute marketing programs for current and future celebrity affiliations that drive both member and celebrity engagement across the entire Shop Your Way platform – through shopyourway.com, sweepstakes, promotions, local store events, etc. 2. Partner with SYW cross-functional team, formats, channels, agency partners, etc. on integrated Marketing approach and plans. 3. Work with analytics to determine best opportunities for member segment-based campaigns based on celebrity-based marketing strategies; and develop programs that continue to generate ongoing learning of member interests and behavior. 4. Manage marketing budgets, plans and expenditures. 5. Review market research to anticipate competition and market trends and translate consumer attitudes into new directions. Remain current all data sources for the retail category, competitive and customer information and leverage relevant information and insight to influence plans. 6. Communicate strategies to other stakeholders in the organization – within marketing, across channels and also to store operations and merchant organizations. 7. Coordinate and align celebrity marketing plans with Shop Your Way brand strategy and promotional plans. 8. Work with creative groups and external agencies to execute program tactics (advertising, digital, PR, direct, online). 9. Coordinate legal and trademark clearances, as required. 10. Evaluate and analyze program results and present recommendations for changes in strategy. REQUIREMENTS: • BA/BS in Business or Marketing, or its equivalent experience, is required; MBA is preferred. • 3-7 years in marketing, consulting, agency or brand management. Marketing experience across various channels and multiple disciplines of marketing (social/digital, print, direct, special events, PR, etc.) is a plus. • Strong knowledge of the marketing planning process including an understanding of retail is a plus. • Social/digital experience is a must.
