Job Duties/Responsibilities: • Collaborate with Product Management on creation of creative briefs and/or product requirements documentation • Advocate for customer needs and representation in the translation of business objectives into project requirements • Conceptualize experiences using sketching, storyboarding, information modeling and other methods • Refine and document experiences in frameworks, site maps, page flows, interaction models and wireframe specifications • Effectively communicate design solutions to all levels of business partners and leadership • Actively participate in design reviews at every stage in the process • Adopt and support established design guidelines and standards and participate in creating new ones • Participate in planning User Experience tasks, deliverables and timelines • Support or conduct research (varies by needs of intent) to inform or refine designs. • Conduct content inventories, competitive analysis and heuristic evaluations in aural and documented presentations. Education Experience: Bachelor's Level Degree Years of Related Experience: 3-4 Years License/Certificate Required: -- Select One -- Driver's License Required: -- Select One -- Travel Requirements: 25% Age Requirement: 18+ Job Requirements: • Bachelors degree in graphic design, industrial design, or related field • 2+ years experience in web interface and layout design • 2+ years experience in retail merchandising/marketing, advertising, product development, e-commerce or related field • Willingness to work closely with information architects, copywriters, developers and others to produce a team-driven end product that leads to a top-notch user experience • An appreciation for the excellence that the above collaboration can produce • Ability to deliver high quality work consistently and on time • Attention to detail, while also considering the big picture • Excellent communication skills • Self-motivated with positive attitude • Advanced knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator • Intermediate understanding of HTML/CSS, with direct experience optimizing design concepts around these technologies • Flash experience a plus • Portfolio that displays an understanding of user-centered design (online portfolio preferred) A comprehensive and competitive benefit program is designed to meet the needs of our associates and their families.
