The Warehouse Associate is responsible for maintaining the warehouse, and the shipping, receiving and maintenance of material inventories. Job Duties/Responsibilities: • Oversees warehouse and grounds, keeping them swept and maintained • Oversees all materials shipped, making sure only materials that are listed on purchase order are loaded • Assists materials being delivered, both loading and unloading • Assists installers/sub-contractors and service technicians on job materials, including unloading of material • Stocks materials in designated areas • Keeps warehouse/grounds neat, orderly and free from obstructions in compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) safety regulations • Stores and maintains all service equipment while not in use, such as ladders and brakes • Ensures that trash is dumped in designated areas and kept neat and orderly • Ensures that materials returned are clean, undamaged, logged on return order form and placed in designated areas • Receives vendor shipments by reconciling all paperwork with physical counts • Oversees temporary help and/or other warehouse workers • Arranges inventory properly in preparation for end-of-month physical inventory count • Assists office management during month-end inventory • Utilizes safety materials, such as safety belt, goggles, gloves and ladders, and practices good safety techniques • Operates and maintains forklift • Attends safety meetings as scheduled • Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned Required Skills: • Ability to work under pressure • Good organizational skills in office and warehouse • Ability to establish priorities • Ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing) • Ability to be flexible • Ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs. (anything over 75 lbs. should be lifted by two people) • Ability to frequently bed, stoop, kneel, stretch, twist, reach and climb • Ability to operate hand truck, dolly or pallet jack when lifting heavy or awkward material • Knowledge on how to lift and carry materials properly A comprehensive and competitive benefit program is designed to meet the needs of our associates and their families.
