Job Purpose: Assists the Routing Manager or Route Process Asst. Manager to ensure daily processes are followed with respect to the construction of routes that maximize customer satisfaction; and balance delivery truck asset availability with delivery team length of workday. Job Responsibilities: Pre-Route Construction: • Works the manual work order and special time frame files • Works on address corrections for the next day or future days • Works the pre-route reports to combine split orders to the same stop • Works to identify orders with cube and time issues, then develop a plan so we can complete the delivery or correct the input errors • Works the turnaround orders that have been rescheduled to the next day so that we get a transaction from DOS to route the order • Works with Local Carrier Manager (or delegate) on equipment requirements for next day deliveries Route Construction: • Analyze routing information & adjust the daily routing configurations to obtain a reasonable solution from all customer information for each delivery location • Ability to co-mingle Carry-In merchandise onto available truck assets • Ability to route for Hybrid SDOs • Adhere to routing guidelines for length of day. • Work with other team members to ensure all stops are routed in a timely manner to allow outbound timeframe calls. • Generate appropriate reports and communicate with delivery locations on expected truck and stop counts. Post Route Construction: • Insure that all delivery time frames have been set and sent to automated dialer for outbound calling. • Update system with driver information for next days deliveries • Works turn around orders that did not get included in the initial routing process • Monitors system to insure all stops are routed at end of night. • Ability to do Capacity Management **THIS IS AN OFFICE POSITION ONLY** Pay rate is $14.00 per hour with hours 30-40 per week. There are rotating closing shifts that end at 10pm, usually 1 or 2 of these are required per month.

Specific Essential Functions: • Ability to read, write and speak English • Ability to solve problems • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment • Ability to follow directions • Ability to handle stressful situations • Ability to work variable and flexible hours, including overtime • Ability to read and utilize reports, as needed • Ability to follow ISO process guidelines Experience/Education/Certification Requirements: • High school diploma or G.E.D. • Must be 18 years of age • Must be able to pass the pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check • Experience and aptitude with computers and databases • Prior work in an MDO, Carry-In unit, or Delivery Call Center a plus Required Job Competencies: • Excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written • Computer literacy • Strong organization and time management skills • Conceptual understanding of routing problems and solutions • Knowledge of teamwork principles (work flow coordination, cross-training, problem solving • Geographical knowledge of servicing area a plus
