Senator Anderson represents the over one million constituents of the California Senate District 36, which encompasses East County San Diego and the southern tip of Riverside County. Before winning his election to the State Senate, Senator Anderson served as an Assemblyman from 2006 2010. Senator Andersons district office is a customer service organization. The office works to respond quickly to the needs of all of our districts constituents. In addition, the district office actively participates in community events and works hard to establish solid relationships with local business and community leaders. Interns in Senator Andersons district office will be intimately involved in the implementation of programs that work to accomplish both of these important goals. Interns will also have an opportunity to aid with developing legislation.
