Senior Helpers started 11 years ago in Baltimore, Maryland, in response to a need in the community to support both the elderly and their caregivers (usually the spouse or children of the senior). Over the years Senior Helpers has grown into a national organization.
Matt and Debbie Miller quit their corporate jobs to start this passionate company in Franklin, TN in 2008, which has since grown into the greater Nashville Area. The owners saw the need to expand their company to include social workers on staff to provide resources for clients and to assess for safety risks. Also, they have added dementia training/CEUs for their caregivers, families, and to health care professionals.
