A client of ours, a top-tier firm is looking for an Junior Sales Account Manager to be based in New York, NY.


The responsibilities of the Junior Sales Account Manager will include:




  • Developing, growing, and maintaining client base by selling technical staffing services for contract positions across multiple verticals, including Healthcare, Financial Services, and Government - while seeking out new opportunities




  • Cold-calling candidates, building relationships via phone, and following-up with candidates post interview




  • Learning and utilizing a variety of technologies for lead generation, including Boolean searches, social media, databases, and social media (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Google, job boards)




  • Analyzing candidate resumes submitted by the recruiting team against open job requirements




  • Gathering robust job descriptions to assist the recruiting team in finding appropriate candidates




  • Conducting in-person interviews and preparatory sessions while building strong rapport with candidates who have been submitted to clients




  • Contacting supervisors to determine candidate viability in supporting and resolving specific client needs




  • Following our data entry guidelines in order to build and maintain the integrity of our client database, including the managing and updating of client records

  • 1 to 5 years of technology or related selling and account management experience




  • Demonstrated success in selling, negotiation, communication, and the ability to sell value while demonstrating technical knowledge




  • Outstanding verbal/written and interpersonal communication skills as well as phone manner




  • Excellent computer skills, including experience with MS Office Suite, Content Management Systems, and Applicant Tracking Systems




  • Strong understanding and facility using the Internet to search for information, especially popular and emerging social networking sites including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and others




  • College degree preferred but not required
