A client of ours, a top-tier healthcare firm, is looking for an Application Security Analyst to be based in Parsippany, NJ.

The responsibilities of the Application Security Analyst will include:

  Integrating security into the development of applications at the company

  
  


• 
  

  Conducting threat modeling of large-scale mobile application platform

  
  


• 
  

  Performing mobile application security assessments, code review, and application penetration tests

  
  


• 
  

  Using automated and manual code review techniques to identify application security vulnerabilities

  
  


• 
  

  Leading code reviews across a variety of languages and technical platforms

  
  


• 
  

  Documenting vulnerabilities and working with developers on vulnerability mitigation

  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline; Security Certifications, such as CISSP or SANS GIAC a plus

  Minimum of 3 years of experience threat-modeling and code reviewing complex applications

  
  


• 
  

  Familiarity with code audit vulnerability testing, penetration testing, and threat modeling

  
  


• 
  

  Expertise in Java and expertise in both server-side and client-side security issues

  
  


• 
  

  Demonstrated skill working with common application security tools, such as fortify, WebInspect, etc.

  
  


• 
  

  Understanding of secure development techniques, including OWASP Top 10

  
  


• 
  

  Experience with Android security and mobile device management a plus

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent technical, analytical, problem resolution, and communication skills
