A client of ours, a top-tier financial firm, is looking for a Business Analyst to be based in Philadelphia, PA.

The responsibilities of the Business Analyst will include:

  Serving as the intermediary between the business unit and information technology

  
  


• 
  

  Writing detailed Business Requirement Documentation (BRD) of user needs as well as functional and/or technical specifications

  
  


• 
  

  Reviewing the current business process and workflow as well as studying existing internal systems to evaluate their current effectiveness

  
  


• 
  

  Understanding the needs, goals, and expectations of the business users and properly communicating the information to the technology team

  
  


• 
  

  Performing UA testing and documentation

  
  


• 
  

  Producing accurate, clear, concise, and relevant documentation based on requirements and information that was gathered from the stakeholders and subject matter experts

  Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

  Business Analyst experience

  Understanding of Subject Matter in Collateral Management and/or collateral valuations

  
  


• 
  

  Skill in delivering client and technology implementation solutions from planning to implementation

  
  


• 
  

  Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle

  
  


• 
  

  Familiarity with the entire trade flow process

  
  


• 
  

  Knowledge of Derivatives and FX

  
  


• 
  

  Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel

  
  


• 
  

  Experience with Macros preferred
