The responsibilities of the Business Analyst will include:

  Acting as intermediary between the business unit and information technology

  Writing detailed business requirement documentation of user needs as well as functional and/or technical specifications

  
  


• 
  

  Reviewing the current business process and workflow as well as studying existing internal systems to evaluate their current effectiveness

  
  


• 
  

  Understanding the needs, goals, and expectations of the business users

  
  


• 
  

  Communicating business user expectations to the technology team

  
  


• 
  

  Delivering client and technology implementation solutions from planning to implementation

  
  


• 
  

  Prioritizing workload and critical deadlines

  Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline

  Minimum of 5 years of Business Analyst experience at an investment bank

  Experience developing and writing business/functional requirements and analyzing graphical and quantitative data

  
  


• 
  

  Familiarity with the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile Methodologies, and the entire trade flow process

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to understand the technical designs as well as the specifications for the project

  
  


• 
  

  Proficiency with MS Office Suite

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, analytical, and oral and written communication skills
