Description


A client of ours, a top-tier financial firm, is looking for a Business Architect to be based in New York, NY.


The responsibilities of the Business Architect will include:




  • Directing Global Technology resources in execution of deliverables in accordance with defined scope and objectives associated with the Regulatory Reporting Program




  • Defining requirements, deliverables, and test cases




  • Ensuring tactical solutions are implemented ahead of potential CFTC (Commodity Futures Trading Commission) audit in 2013




  • Devising a strategic solution to ensure operational risk has been minimized in the daily calculations performed in order to limit the impact of further scrutiny by state regulators




  • Developing and submitting a remediation action plan to regulators to meet regulatory requirements




  • Formulating a proposal to automate processes, enhance transparency, and enhance data remediation

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline




  • Minimum of 10 years Regulatory Reporting experience within Financial Services with thorough understanding of Bank Regulatory Reporting process




  • Experience in change management methods and processes




  • Management experience and ability to lead and work with Technology organizations




  • In-depth knowledge of process mapping and quality management tools and techniques




  • Ability to build use cases




  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite




  • Excellent analytical, problem resolution, and both written and verbal communication skills
