The responsibilities of the Checkpoint Security Engineer will include:

  Maintaining Checkpoint firewalls in multiple data centers

  
  


• 
  

  Reconfiguring Checkpoint products

  
  


• 
  

  Reviewing change requests for accuracy and working with requesters to identify approved ports, source, and destination addresses

  
  


• 
  

  Performing reviews of firewall policies and accessing control lists to maintain secure access controls

  
  


• 
  

  Maintaining remote access solutions for all data centers providing remote connectivity for administrators and application support personnel

  
  


• 
  

  Providing day-to-day management and operational support for the security devices managed by the team

  
  


• 
  

  Monitoring real-time security alerts generated from firewalls

  
  


• 
  

  Planning, coordinating, and leading incident response activities to known threats on the network

  Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related discipline

  Certificate in checkpoint a plus

  Strong IT security skills on the engineering and administration side

  Excellent analytical, trouble-shooting, and communication skills
