The responsibilities of the Cognos Developer will include:

  Developing and maintaining reports using Report Studio

  
  


• 
  

  Contributing to the design and maintenance of the HR Data Warehouse system Framework Manager Data Models

  
  


• 
  

  Migrating existing reports from Cognos 8.4 on a Windows platform to Cognos 10.2 on AIX

  
  


• 
  

  Assisting with the Tivoli Directory Server Idap integration with Cognos

  
  


• 
  

  Identifying and escalating risks uncovered during testing and suggesting remediation actions

  
  


• 
  

  Troubleshooting and identifying root cause for issues and problems

  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline

  Minimum of 3 years of experience using Cognos Report and Query Studio; Cognos 8 or above referred

  In depth knowledge of Oracle and/or DB2 SQL

  
  


• 
  

  Familiarity working in a matrix environment

  
  


• 
  

  Basic understanding of Tivoli Directory Services a plus

  
  


• 
  

  Experience working in a government or civil service environment a plus

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent technical, analytical, problem resolution, and both written and verbal communication skills
