A client of ours, a top-tier financial firm, is looking for a Compliance Officer to be based in Jacksonville, FL.

The responsibilities of the Compliance Officer will include:

  Working with and assisting various business units in establishing and updating client investment guideline

  
  


• 
  

  Monitoring Pre and Post trading guidelines

  
  


• 
  

  Assisting in the identification and resolution of trading and guideline errors within any 40Act Fund or separately managed account

  
  


• 
  

  Interfacing with various business units to maintain compliance with policies and procedures

  
  


• 
  

  Monitoring various compliance surveillance and exception reports

  
  


• 
  

  Preparing compliance certifications for institutional accounts

  
  


• 
  

  Maintaining and reporting various data for management reports

  Four year college degree or equivalent

  
  


• 
  

  5 years of fund administration, compliance or audit experience within an asset management firm

  
  


• 
  

  Experience monitoring compliance reports and knowledge of investment guideline systems, preferably Charles River or similar environment

  
  


• 
  

  Interpersonal skills to interface with various business units

  
  


• 
  

  Strong attention to detail

  
  


• 
  

  Knowledge of the 40Act fund, client, and regulatory guidelines and restrictions

  
  


• 
  

  Familiar with fixed income instruments and derivatives
