The responsibilities of the Data Warehouse Architect will include:

  Designing top-level architecture of a Data Warehouse in support of business intelligence projects

  
  


• 
  

  Serving as the visionary for the Logical and Physical Data Models for all Data Warehouse applications

  
  


• 
  

  Integrating data from multiple source systems into Data Warehouse

  
  


• 
  

  Documenting, maintaining, and enforcing data standards for the Data
  
  Warehouse, including security, archive, backup, and recovery

  
  


• 
  

  Managing architectural decisions for data transitions from source to staging to Reporting

  
  


• 
  

  Serving as a subject-matter expert for Data Architecture

  
  


• 
  

  Pin point system or process problems and initiate problem solving

  
  


• 
  

  Plan and participating in cross-training with staff

  Minimum of 8 years background in IT (Information Technology)

  
  


• 
  

  Minimum of 5 years of Data Warehouse experience, including working as the lead analyst in the design of an enterprise Data Warehouse using fact tables and a star schema dimensional model, deploying business intelligence front-end tools to provide non-technical users with access to information from underlying Data Warehouse structures, and using extraction, transformation, and loading tools with the development of strategies for the loading of data into the production enterprise Data Warehouse

  Minimum of 4 years of experience serving as a technical team leader actively supervising and mentoring a Data Warehouse development team and providing the database administration necessary to build and support a production enterprise Data Warehouse

  
  


• 
  

  Minimum of 3 years of production experience in an Oracle enterprise Data Warehouse

  
  


• 
  

  Superior dimensional modeling skills at the conceptual, logical, and physical levels and experience documenting data models

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent management and communication skills
