A client of ours, a top-tier financial firm, is looking for a Documentation Drafter to be based in New York, NY.

The responsibilities of the Documentation Drafter will include:

• 
  

  Generating ISDA (International Swaps and Derivatives Association) compliant confirmations on Interest Rates

  
  


• 
  

  Answering detailed queries on specific products, including Interest Rates, Fixed Income, Swaps, Options, and Structured Trades

  
  


• 
  

  Researching and resolving documentation discrepancies through proactive communication with internal partners and external counterparties

  
  


• 
  

  Ensuring accuracy and completeness of internal confirmation records versus electronic platforms

  
  


• 
  

  Implementing and maintaining stringent process controls to mitigate firm and client risk

  Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline preferred

  Background in Mathematics

  
  


• 
  

  Knowledge of ISDA definitions, interest rates, structured trade, Fixed Income, and Commodities

  
  


• 
  

  Familiarity negotiating with clients to resolve language discrepancies, maintaining risk and control, analyzing root cause, resolving recurring problems, and re-engineering existing procedures

  
  


• 
  

  Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent interpersonal as well as written and verbal communication skills
