The responsibilities of the Engineering Director will include:

  Executing design, test, integration, and installation tasks in accordance with project team objectives and requirements

  Presenting schedule, budget, and designs to senior management

  
  


• 
  

  Generating detailed system/device specifications and managing specification trade-offs

  
  


• 
  

  Initiating and composing technical proposals and reviewing proposals written by others

  
  


• 
  

  Adhering to and improving documentation procedures in compliance with established quality procedures and processes

  
  


• 
  

  Leading teams to identify and resolve design and manufacturing issues in firmware, software, or electrical design

  
  


• 
  

  Ensuring project development plans realistically address risks

  PhD with 6 years of experience or MSEE with 8 years of experience

  Hands-on experience in analog, digital, and power supply circuit design from conceptual stages through manufacturing

  Expertise with both PCB design and component layout

  
  


• 
  

  Strong portfolio of domain specific experience and independent research and proposal winning

  
  


• 
  

  Skill generating detailed test specification and analyzing test output

  
  


• 
  

  Familiarity with the complete product lifecycle from concept formation through validation, transition to manufacturing, and sustained support

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent technical writing, analytical, critical thinking, problem resolution, and communication skills
