A client of ours, a top-tier financial firm, is looking for a FIX Connectivity Specialist to be based in New York, NY.

The responsibilities of the FIX Connectivity Specialist will include:

  Gathering and analyzing the requirements of the strategies from the business team or directly from the client

  
  


• 
  

  Back-testing execution algorithms, unit testing, and debugging

  
  


• 
  

  Preparing the external and internal design documents

  
  


• 
  

  Implementing code changes on OMS systems

  
  


• 
  

  Addressing real time issues and trouble-shooting

  
  


• 
  

  Setting up FIX (Financial Information Exchange) connections with various clients and extending No Touch Algorithms (DMA) over FIX to the clients through various FIX providers

  
  


• 
  

  Ensuring end to end process compliance from conceptualization to the deployment of the strategies into the production environment

  
  


• 
  

  Managing the trading infrastructure to minimize latency
