A client of ours, a top-tier financial firm, is looking for an FX (Foreign Exchange) Contractor to be based in New York, NY.

The responsibilities of the FX Contractor will include:

• 
  

  Participating in the client on-boarding process

  
  


• 
  

  Entering trade life cycle events to be confirmed, settled, and displayed in the client's account

  
  


• 
  

  Resolving same day and next day client inquires related to financial detail discrepancies and contacting either client or execution broker to submit evidence of trade execution

  
  


• 
  

  Contacting clients and executing brokers to inform them of the impending regulatory impact to their FX (Foreign Exchange) trading

  
  


• 
  

  Liaising with the internal Legal team and the PMO (Project Management Office) to obtain the correct client accounts and the associated ISDA (International Swaps and Derivatives Association) dates

  
  


• 
  

  Obtaining impacted trade population

  
  


• 
  

  Creating, sending, and tracking the status of the novation process, the Termination Notice, and the New Designation Notice

  Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related discipline

  
  


• 
  

  Minimum 3 years of experience with a Foreign Exchange Prime Brokerage Middle Office

  
  


• 
  

  Familiarity with UAT (User Acceptance) testing

  
  


• 
  

  Capacity to understand complex trade flows

  
  


• 
  

  Heavy Client and Front Office interaction background – ability to manage across varies levels within the organization

  
  


• 
  

  Proficiency in MS Office Suite

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
