A client of ours, a top-tier financial firm, is looking for an Internal Communications Specialist to be based in New York, NY.

The responsibilities of the Internal Communications Specialist will include:

  Implementing online and offline communications campaigns that serve the needs of employees

  
  


• 
  

  Writing clear, concise, and timely content that contributes to the Bank's overall communications strategies

  
  


• 
  

  Coordinating and executing intranet and e-newsletter publishing as well as staff emails, including troubleshooting technical issues

  
  


• 
  

  Providing logistical coordination and support for internal events, such as town-halls and other employee briefings

  
  


• 
  

  Providing guidance on communications guidelines while managing reservations of internal communications vehicles and publishing brand screens

  
  


• 
  

  Implementing and overseeing measurement techniques (i.e. intranet reports, event surveys, etc.) to assess and improve the effectiveness of communications strategies

  
  


• 
  

  Increasing the use of emerging media (blog, video, etc) to educate and encourage dialogue with employees

  A minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience in corporate communications and/or online marketing

  Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline

  Superior technical background, specifically managing an internet/intranet site and operating a content management system

  
  


• 
  

  Be detail-oriented, highly organized, and focused while handling and prioritizing multiple time-sensitive assignments

  
  


• 
  

  Outstanding oral, written, and presentation skills required

  
  


• 
  

  Design and video-editing skills preferred
