A client of ours, a top-tier healthcare firm, is looking for an Information Technology (IT) Analyst to be based in New York, NY.        

The responsibilities of the Information Technology (IT) Analyst will include:

  Analyzing and evaluating system malfunctions and taking appropriate action as directed

  
  


• 
  

  Installing and rolling-out new software packages, upgrades, and new desktop hardware

  
  


• 
  

  Installing and configuring desktops, laptops, software, and peripheral devices

  
  


• 
  

  Participating in the testing and evaluation of new desktop hardware and software

  
  


• 
  

  Responding to issues escalated by Tier 1 support via a ticket tracking system

  
  


• 
  

  Keeping all information in the ticket tracking system current

  
  


• 
  

  Supporting mobile workforce - Blackberry, Laptop and remote connectivity

  
  


• 
  

  Documenting solutions to problems

  2 years of field experience with demonstrated trouble-shooting skills and a working knowledge of operating systems and hardware platforms

  
  


• 
  

  Must have valid driver's license, own a vehicle, and be available for on on-call

  
  


• 
  

  Associates Degree or technical degree/certificate in related IT field

  
  


• 
  

  Minimum of 1 year of experience with MS Windows XP Professional, Windows 7 Enterprise, MS Windows Server software including print and file shares, MS Office Suite, MS Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, and MS networking technologies

  
  


• 
  

  Understanding of SCCM technologies

  
  


• 
  

  Familiarity with PC imaging software, including PXE Windows 7 MDT, at least 1 year

  
  


• 
  

  Skill installing, configuring, upgrading hardware and software, and troubleshooting Windows desktop and laptop computer, minimum of 1 year

  
  


• 
  

  Knowledge of remote computing options such as RDP, SCCM, ZENworks Remote, WiFi, VPN, and Citrix
