A client of ours, a top-tier financial firm, is looking for an IT Asset Management Specialist to be based in Carlstadt, NJ.

The responsibilities of the IT Asset Management Specialist will include:

  Monitoring, tracking, reconciling, and reporting all organizational IT software/hardware inventory

  
  


• 
  

  Assisting management in the preparation of formal reports and management of their supporting documents

  
  


• 
  

  Developing, improving, and maintaining processes for managing and tracking each asset's lifecycle

  
  


• 
  

  Tracking software/hardware within the company, including planning, monitoring, auditing, and recording assets

  
  


• 
  

  Advising other functions to conduct audits, anticipating growth requirements, and directing efforts to remediate issues

  
  


• 
  

  Initiating research to develop processes and procedures to maximize efficiency within asset tracking with industry best practices to improve the IT Asset Management function

  
  


• 
  

  Serving as administrator of the company's IT Asset Management function to review and update reference tables

  Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field

  Knowledge of IT Supply Chain/Procurement
