A client of ours, a top-tier financial firm, is looking for an IT Risk Analyst to be based in New York, NY.

The responsibilities of the IT Risk Analyst will include:

  Assisting company investigators and law enforcement agencies in legal preparation of search warrants, subpoenas, etc., to properly obtain all relevant electronic media as evidence

  
  


• 
  

  Providing analysis and retrieval services for seized electronic media

  
  


• 
  

  Maintaining and developing the necessary equipment and toolsets

  
  


• 
  

  Identifying and analyzing new threats and incidents

  
  


• 
  

  Coordinating tracking, reporting, escalation, and dissemination of countermeasure mitigation strategies

  
  


• 
  

  Ensuring the firm's ability to prevent, respond to, and investigate computer security anomalies

  
  


• 
  

  Providing support and consulting services to risk reduction initiatives to ensure proper response or mitigation of risks

  
  


• 
  

  Assisting in developing presentations about progress update on initiatives to senior management

  Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, Finance, or related discipline with a background in finance

  Minimum of 3 years of experience in Information Risk and Security Management

  
  


• 
  

  At least 1 year of experience in the international financial services industry desired

  
  


• 
  

  Digital forensic process and technical tool knowledge, including crime scene investigation

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent knowledge of risk sensitivities (Greeks- Delta, Gamma, Vega etc.), VaR (Value at Risk), IT risk management methodology, and IT policies and standards

  
  


• 
  

  Strong technical knowledge with regards to client desktops, servers, networking equipment, Windows, and nix operating systems as well as network and web software

  
  


• 
  

  Certification in Information Security, Audit, and/or Forensics desired

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent problem solving, creative thinking, interpersonal, and communication skills
