Description


A client of ours, a top-tier firm, is looking for a Technology Recruiter to be based in New York, NY.  The responsibilities of the Technology Recruiter will include:




  • Analyzing resumes and online profiles to match qualified candidates to appropriate open job requirements




  • Conducting candidate screenings, interview follow-ups, and closing offers




  • Prioritizing, reacting to, and processing a large amount of candidate inquiries, applications, and information arriving on a daily basis through multiple sources




  • Learning and utilizing a variety of technologies for data mining and sourcing new candidates, including Boolean searches, social media, resume databases, and social media (Twitter, Linkedin, Facebook, Google, job boards)




  • Creating robust, accurate job postings and email communications with proper structure, grammar, and company voice




  • Conducting in-person interviews and preparatory sessions while building strong rapport with candidates who have been submitted to clients

  • 1 to 5 years of technology or related recruiting experience




  • Demonstrable flexibility, and quick responses to change




  • Outstanding computer skills, including experience with MS Office suite, Content Management Systems, and Applicant Tracking Systems




  • Strong understanding and facility using the Internet to search for information, especially popular and emerging social networking sites, including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and others




  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal




  • Excellent phone manner




  • Ability to handle/safeguard sensitive and confidential information




  • College degree preferred but not required
