A client of ours, a top-tier firm is looking for a Lotus Notes Administrator to be based in Phoenix, AZ.

The responsibilities of the Lotus Notes Administrator will include:

  Assisting in daily operations and maintenance support of the Lotus Notes environment

  
  


• 
  

  Administering Lotus Notes user accounts by creating user IDs, effecting changes and moves, maintaining group lists, and removing terminated user IDs

  
  


• 
  

  Troubleshooting hardware and software problems to provide a reliable Notes/Domino environment

  
  


• 
  

  Maintaining replication and email routing integrity by monitoring the mail gateway and ensuring the availability and accessibility of the hub and spoke servers

  
  


• 
  

  Interacting with the Help Desk to provide second and third level support for Notes Network, Notes Email, and Notes Database applications

  
  


• 
  

  Protecting the overall security of the Notes Network through the administration of database access control lists and other server security measures

  
  


• 
  

  Searching server logs for proactive monitoring or troubleshooting

  
  


• 
  

  Reviewing quarantine logs for Anti-Spam operations and filtering out unwanted inbound emails

  At least two years of experience administering and/or supporting a multi-server Lotus Notes implementation

  Familiarity with the concepts of Notes application development with proven ability to support and troubleshoot custom Domino applications

  
  


• 
  

  Proficient with Windows 2003 2008, XP, and Windows 7 operating systems, both server and workstation

  
  


• 
  

  Comfortable working in Solaris (Unix) and Windows Server Command Line environment performing general file system tasks

  
  


• 
  

  Knowledge of the Domino Admin, Designer, and Lotus Notes Clients

  
  


• 
  

  Understanding of TCP/IP in a multi-segmented and firewalled Cisco network
