A client of ours, a top-tier financial firm, is looking for an Operations Manager to be based in Charlotte, NC.

The responsibilities of the Operations Manager will include:

  Forming a daily cash reporting and projection team that will partner with the Funding and Liquidity Management team to improve cash management and overall legal entity funding efficiency

  
  


• 
  

  Researching, reconciling, and documenting entity level cash and position breaks

  
  


• 
  

  Recommending improvements based on findings

  
  


• 
  

  Acting as liaison between funding, settlements, technology, and various support groups and trading desks

  
  


• 
  

  Tracking security settlements of US Equity and Fixed Income Products, MBS, and DTC Securities through the client's clearing system

  
  


• 
  

  Monitoring sub-system data

  
  


• 
  

  Tracking Repo settlements and Tri-party transactions

  Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

  
  


• 
  

  9+ years of experience with 6+ years in a managerial role

  
  


• 
  

  10 years monitoring and reporting on all cash activities of a large US based broker dealer active in US Equity and Fixed Income markets

  
  


• 
  

  10 years working in a treasury or funding operations team of a bank or broker dealer forecasting cash levels to improve funding efficiency

  
  


• 
  

  Experience in the securities industry relating to legal entity funding required

  
  


• 
  

  Thorough understanding of accounting

  
  


• 
  

  Proficiency with Bloomberg and MS Office Suite preferred

  
  


• 
  

  Strong communication and analytical skills
