Description


A client of ours, a top-tier financial firm, is looking for a Performance Measurement/Metrics Specialist to be based in New York, NY.


The responsibilities of the Performance Measurement/Metrics Specialist will include:




  • Implementing Time Driven Activity Based Costing for Operations as a component of the firms project in order to provide greater transparency to resource, costs, capital, and funding so that resource decisions can be made in an efficient manner




  • Enhancing an integrated management reporting process and monthly scorecards/dashboard




  • Driving the implementation of the Cognos and Qlickview programs for Ops and Tech enterprise wide metrics (KRI/KPI) dashboards (delivery manager)




  • Working with all the operational silos on the capital market side to gather metrics for key performance indicators and key risk indicators (such as trade volume) and working with IT to feed those metrics directly into a central repository that is currently being built




  • Leading a working group of metrics managers across Operations to define metrics standards and implement an efficient metrics operating model




  • Managing the Firm Operations Time Driven Activity Based Costing cost allocation model




  • Contributing to projects such as the Integrated Management Reporting Solution




  • Creating all the dashboards for sales and trading senior management within all regulatory bodies

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field




  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Business Intelligence analytics and Reporting using industry standard BI tools like Cognos, Qlikview, and Business ObjectsFamiliarity with KPI/KRI




  • Experience in research and data analysis




  • Practical understanding of quantitative and qualitative data collection tools and methodologies




  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
