A client of ours, a top-tier financial firm, is looking for a Portfolio Manager Assistant to be based in Atlanta, GA.

The responsibilities of the Portfolio Manager Assistant will include:

• 
  

  Updating investment models according to project management specifications

  
  


• 
  

  Generating order allocations as instructed on either the portfolio accounting system or proprietary systems in a timely manner

  
  


• 
  

  In-putting trade data to the trading system upon completion of order execution

  
  


• 
  

  Maintaining and following trade rotation sheets

  
  


• 
  

  Communicating trade allocations to brokers/sponsors for all trading activity

  
  


• 
  

  Reviewing accounts as scheduled, looking for violations of account restrictions as well as accounts drifting from model, and taking appropriate action

  
  


• 
  

  Comparing results to investment guidelines, determining appropriate course of action, bringing recommendations to the PM for approval, and taking corrective action if necessary

  
  


• 
  

  Ensuring the accuracy of all trade related transactions on portfolio accounting system as well as additional proprietary systems when appropriate

  Bachelor's degree in relevant field, preferably Finance

  
  


• 
  

  Minimum of 3 years of significant experience

  
  


• 
  

  Familiarity with wrap accounts/APL, Equity, Fixed Income, and ET Derivatives

  
  


• 
  

  Experience in the Securities Industry, including experience order allocations and trade data input

  
  


• 
  

  Proficiency with MS Office Suite, APL, On-Base, Charles River, Blackrock Aladdin, and Bloomberg

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent analytical, problem solving, and both written and verbal communication skills
