A client of ours, a top-tier firm, is looking for a Project Manager to be based in Torrance, CA.

The responsibilities of the Project Manager will include:

  Coordinating an upgrade to the internal Informatica environment by migrating jobs/scripts from the current environment to the upgraded environment

  
  


• 
  

  Driving a large, complex application development project in a multi-department portfolio

  
  


• 
  

  Managing project scope and risk

  
  


• 
  

  Developing project schedule and budgets

  
  


• 
  

  Ensuring project quality

  
  


• 
  

  Developing and implementing communication plans

  
  


• 
  

  Directing human resources, third party vendors, and system integrators

  Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or other related discipline; PMI (Project Management Institute) or PMP (Project Management Professional Certification preferred

  Minimum of 8 years project management experience; Big 4 consulting background strongly preferred

  
  


• 
  

  Experience managing Business Intelligence (BI), Extract Transform Load (ETL), or Data Warehousing (DW) projects

  
  


• 
  

  Experience working in Waterfall environment

  
  


• 
  

  Strong integration experience

  
  


• 
  

  Familiarity with Informatica projects

  
  


• 
  

  Thorough understanding of the entire Project Development Life Cycle (PDLC)

  
  


• 
  

  Proficiency with MS Office Suite, MS Project, and Clarity
