The responsibilities of the Quantitative Analyst will include:

  Applying mathematical techniques and writing software to develop, analyze, and implement statistical models for internal computerized financial trading strategies

  
  


• 
  

  Creating solutions for trading profitably in markets

  
  


• 
  

  Examining trading data in an effort to increase profitability, decrease risk, and reduce transaction costs

  
  


• 
  

  Conceiving new trading ideas

  
  


• 
  

  Devising simulations needed to test new trading ideas

  Graduate degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline from a top-tier accredited university with an exceptional GPA

  0 to 5 years of experience

  Familiarity coding in languages other than Matlab, R, and SAS

  
  


• 
  

  Skill working with real world large datasets

  
  


• 
  

  Background in developing successful quantitative models, preferably involving transaction cost analysis and/or high-frequency trading

  
  


• 
  

  Proficiency with the numerical and statistical tools needed to develop robust signals from market data

  
  


• 
  

  Experience at top-tier research labs or publications in top peer-reviewed journals preferred

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent analytical, mathematic, and oral and written communication skills
