A client of ours, a top-tier firm, is looking for a SAP Interface Data Conversion Analyst to be based in Torrance, CA.

The responsibilities of the SAP Data Conversion Analyst will include:

• 
  

  Participating in the extraction of data from legacy systems

  
  


• 
  

  Collaborating with the Application Integration team to analyze data in current systems and provide support for creation of functional specifications

  
  


• 
  

  Reviewing technical specifications

  
  


• 
  

  Facilitating data mapping by gathering legacy technical information as needed and providing SAP information

  
  


• 
  

  Creating test plans

  
  


• 
  

  Coordinating testing of data extracts/conversions, including unit testing, cycle testing, and dry runs

  
  


• 
  

  Providing information for cutover planning

  Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline

  
  


• 
  

  Minimum of 5 years of experience working on SAP with focus on ECC6 and SRM

  
  


• 
  

  Background in IDocs and custom development in SAP (ABAP, BAPIs, BADIs, etc.)

  
  


• 
  

  Knowledge of SAP Data Services preferred

  
  


• 
  

  Experience reviewing functional specifications and creating technical specification and test plans

  
  


• 
  

  Functional understanding of financial and/or procurement processes in SAP a plus

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent technical, analytical, problem resolution, and communication skills
