A client of ours, a top-tier firm is looking for a Senior J2EE Developer to be based in Parsippany, NJ.

The responsibilities of the Senior J2EE Developer will include:

  Analyzing, designing, and developing enterprise web applications using J2EE technologies

  
  


• 
  

  Designing, documenting, implementing, and testing reusable services using the SOA paradigm

  
  


• 
  

  Understanding non-functional requirements and analyzing their impact on design and implementation

  
  


• 
  

  Developing and maintaining a high quality code base while meeting aggressive project schedule

  
  


• 
  

  Providing guidance to junior developers and reviewing their work

  
  


• 
  

  Adopting and improving best practices of software development

  Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering, or related field

  5+ years of total IT experience

  Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing and developing distributed middle-tier applications/services using Java/J2EE technologies

  
  


• 
  

  Working knowledge of OO concepts , EJB ,JDBC, Transaction Management (JTA), JMS, WebLogic, Hibernate, WebServices, UML and Design Patterns

  
  


• 
  

  Familiarity with SQL, database schema design, and relational database systems such as Oracle

  
  


• 
  

  Understanding of Enterprise Application Integration
