A client of ours, a top-tier firm is looking for a Senior Software Quality Tester to be based in New Jersey.

The responsibilities of the Senior Software Quality Tester will include:

• 
  

  Applying technical, analytical, and quality assurance testing expertise to the design and development of testing standards, testing methodologies, testing environments, test data setup, test plans, test automation, and test artifacts for test solutions required to support IT, operations, business, partner, and customer needs

  
  


• 
  

  Participating in all phases of the software development life cycle, including researching, designing, and recommending testing solutions to optimize testing

  
  


• 
  

  Preparing and presenting testing solutions

  
  


• 
  

  Developing, executing, and maintaining user stories, test cases, test scripts, unit test plans, QA test plans, system test plans, integration test plans, regression test plans, and other high-risk specialty test plans

  
  


• 
  

  Working closely with testing management, testers, and project teams to coordinate test planning and testing activities to ensure that the appropriate test requirements and solutions are designed, planned, and executed

  
  


• 
  

  Assisting in the development and maintenance of test data and test environments and in the implementation of a test automation environment

  5 years of experience in all phases of quality assurance testing working with software systems, applications, databases, web services, and multi-tier networked environments

  
  


• 
  

  5 years of experience in full project and software development lifecycle, including ALM, agile, and SCRUM methodologies

  
  


• 
  

  3 years of experience in business process engineering, testing design, application design, software engineering, and test automation using a competitive industry testing toolset

  
  


• 
  

  Functional knowledge of BMP process flows and swim lanes

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent collaboration skills to understand requirements, processes and changes in order to identify and maintain visibility on the high risk-based development driven testing

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills

  
  


• 
  

  Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Visio, Excel and Project
