The responsibilities of the Senior Unified Communications Engineer will include:

  Designing solutions and implementing MS Unified Communication applications

  Collaborating with architect/engineering teams to provide quality Unified Communications integration solutions

  
  


• 
  

  Guiding customers through complex Unified Communications (UC) integrations projects

  
  


• 
  

  Performing hands-on technical content development

  
  


• 
  

  Aligning technology to their business opportunities and needs in context of the communication platform strategy

  
  


• 
  

  Identifying solution system interfaces, constraints, scope, cost, risks, and value

  
  


• 
  

  Documenting business, information, application, and technology aspects of approach

  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline

  
  


• 
  

  MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert) Certification, Lync Certification, or OCS R2 (Microsoft Office Communications Server) strongly preferred

  
  


• 
  

  Minimum 7 years related technical experience

  
  


• 
  

  Experience with technical consulting, solution design, project envisioning, planning, development, deployment, and management

  
  


• 
  

  Familiarity with MS Lync, OCS, Exchange, Active Directory, and SharePoint/CEBP

  
  


• 
  

  In-depth knowledge of VoIP/telephony expertise, including knowledge of Avaya, AES, Session Manager, and PBX integration scenarios with MS Lync

  
  


• 
  

  Experience with Voice and Data Platforms, Voice and Data Networks, UC C applications, Contact Centers, and Application Integration Services

  
  


• 
  

  Knowledge of the following: TCP/IP networking, switches, routers, firewalls, network bandwidth management, SS7, GRR303, H.320, H.323, and SIP protocols
