The responsibilities of the Software Engineer Consultant will include:

  Working with technical teams to implement high quality, reliable performance production systems

  
  


• 
  

  Developing full lifecycle application systems adhering to the client's Software Development Life Cycle

  
  


• 
  

  Designing, developing, and maintaining applications critical to business product lines

  
  


• 
  

  Providing product support throughout the life cycle

  
  


• 
  

  Documenting technical specifications

  5+ years of relevant experience

  Experience writing performance sensitive applications

  Experience with socket programming and programming with various message protocols (XML, FIX, etc.)

  Familiarity with  SQL, C#, and .Net programming

  
  


• 
  

  Strong multithreaded background

  
  


• 
  

  Knowledge of reliable messaging systems (TIBCO, 29West, Solace) preferred
