A client of ours, a top-tier financial firm, is looking for a Systems Administrator to be based in Phoenix, AZ.

The responsibilities of the Systems Administrator will include:

• 
  

  Providing escalated support to the Service Desk, HTCS, and Operations Center

  
  


• 
  

  Managing assigned incidents and requests and ensuring incidents are updated and resolved in a timely manner

  
  


• 
  

  Being available 24x7 on a rotated or otherwise as needed basis to provide off-hours support to the Service Desk, HTCS, Operations Center, and other team members

  
  


• 
  

  Maintaining systems/applications and follow-outlined procedures

  
  


• 
  

  Interfacing with other teams within IT, such as security, networking, communications, and distributed technology to manage and support issues

  
  


• 
  

  Serving as a mentor for HTCS, Service Desk, and Operations on basic administrative tasks

  
  


• 
  

  Creating, reviewing, and updating procedural documentation

  
  


• 
  

  Remediating assigned issues found during audit scans on data center and property servers

  Experience in systems administration

  Ability to read and interpret Firewall and Load Balancer configurations

  Ability to identify and troubleshoot server performance issues using native Windows Server tools and utilities

  
  


• 
  

  Thorough understanding of clustering requirements and ability to build and maintain Microsoft Windows clusters

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to troubleshoot Active Directory communication issues

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to install and modify SQL components and troubleshoot job and/or maintenance plan failures

  
  


• 
  

  Thorough understanding of server hardware components and externally attached storage devices

  
  


• 
  

  General understanding of server-side scripting uses
