Description
Position Overview: Provide leadership, focus, andstrategicdirection to Shaw Contract Group in the Retail and Hospitality market sectors. In conjunction with the Hospitality Studio Manager and Hard Surface design team, the Segment Director is responsible for developing the product strategy for Shaw Contract Group/Shaw Hospitality Group's global hospitality business. The Segment Director will be responsible for leading the development of sales tools, sales training and creating a strategic vision with execution detail that will enable SCG to be the leading supplier to the Retail and Hospitality segments globally. The Segment Director, as part of the Shaw Contract Group Marketing Team, will be involved in the marketing communication of the global Shaw Contract Group brand. They will lead the efforts focused on Hospitality and Retail and be a critical team member for strategy and execution of the overall brand development for SCG. The Segment Director will be engaged with resources throughout Shaw and is expected to exhibit servant leadership to communicate the needs of the market and work with broad coalitions to develop and implement solutions. Responsibilities:
  • Create a partnership with Hospitality and Retail VPSA's to form a strategic sales/marketing collaborative to achieve market share growth
  • Work with hard surface team to develop a clear product and service menu that is simplified and appropriate for to meet retail client and public space requirements in each respective segment
  • Provide strategic input to SCG and hard surface product development teams, defining product requirements for all retail and hospitality segments.
  • Provide guidance to the Shaw Contract Group organization in end use selling both including and beyond hospitality and retail.
  • Become the content expert for Shaw Commercial on retail, hospitality and public space sector issues.
  • Train and model end user focused sales process for the SCG sales organization.
  • Work with the hard surface sales leadership to fully leverage all product categories in retail and hospitality
  • Be accountable to the Shaw Contract Group strategic foundation of design leadership and market specialization
  • Provide leadership and support in other market segments.

Qualifications

Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree and minimum of 5 years sales, marketing, or related business experience is required.
