We have an excellent opportunity for a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team at SHL for an initial 12 month fixed term contract. Renewal is highly likely due to the nature of the project. Roles and Responsibilities:

• Definition and production of test plans and associated detailed tests
• Design, development and execution of manual software test scripts covering UI testing, functional system behaviour, (including scoring and reporting), and occasional non-functional testing such as cross browser testing for web based applications
• Execution of automated software test scripts working at the UI level
• Peer review including test scripts, results and documentation
• Issue reporting and tracking
• Status reporting
• Attending project and team meetings as required

Skills Required Essential:

• Software tester, with a focus on web based applications
• Use of industry standard testing/defect management tools (e.g. Quality Centre, JIRA)
• Experience of testing multilingual/multibyte content and systems

Desirable:

• Writing SQL queries and using SQL for data analysis / DB related white box testing
• Use of automated functional testing tool Selenium / WebDriver, including the development, design and execution of automated test scripts
• Experience using SQL for test data preparation and issue reporting
• Testing for Accessibility compliance
• Testing mobile applications
• Ability to read and speak one or more foreign languages to assist with multi-lingual testing

Certification:

• ISEB Certification desirable
