Psychiatric job in Indiana. Adult Psychiatrist needed for inpatient work, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. 30-bed adult unit; average census: 21 with 4.5 days average length of stay. Five (5) other psychiatrists. On call: 1 weekend out of 5; weeknight call - 1 weeknight per wk. On weekend rounding could possibly see children and adolescents as well as adults. Advanced practice nurse sees children & adolescents on weekends; however, psychiatrist must be comfortable in seeing and treating children if necessary on weekends only. Ideal atmosphere providing excellent compensation!!
