Analyst, Content Acquisitions

Sony
Network Entertainment International (SNEI) is seeking an individual within the
SNEI Video Content Acquisition team with responsibility for supporting the
team's management and expansion of content partners worldwide. This position
will reside in SNEI’s office in Los Angeles, CA and support SNEI's worldwide
video service.

Responsibilities:

* Develop and document acquisition plans, deal rights, financial metrics and
goals for senior management.
* Analyze results to drive improvements in acquisitions and pricing strategy.
* Drive continuous improvement in all aspects of SNEI’s relationships with its
content partners.
* Target, negotiate and close content license agreements for feature films, television
programs, sports and other relevant video content.
* Work closely with SNEI colleagues to help define, recommend and execute
worldwide digital video strategies to senior management.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor
degree.
* 2
years of experience in content acquisitions, licensing and/or business
development role.
* Excellent
data analysis and quantitative skills.
* Excellent
communication and organizational skills.
* Ability
to adapt to a quickly changing, fast-paced environment
Preferred:

* MBA
or JD.
* Content
licensing and/or business development experience, both domestically and
internationally.
* Knowledge
of digital video landscape, including solid understanding of digital video
distribution technologies.
* Strong
interest and knowledge about movies & TV.
