Sr. Software Engineer- Java

San Diego, CA

SNEI is looking for a Sr. Software Engineer to join a
growing team in the Platform group.

Primary Responsibilities:

The Sr. Java Developer is responsible for design and
implementation of interactive web-based services. Candidate will be heavily
involved in creating and maintaining Java code and provide component level
designs for Sony PlayStation 3 network platform. The candidate must have
experience in developing Java based applications on both Windows and Unix
(Linux) platforms.
Qualifications:

• BS degree in computer science or equivalent

• Minimum
of 5-7 years programming experience in Java

• Experience
with Java Application Server

• Experience
developing applications on Unix/Linux platforms

• Dynamic,
high-load web development experience

• Must
have experience with Spring and Hibernate

• Experience
using source control and bug tracking systems in a team environment

Additional Attributes:

• Experience
in full life-cycle agile software development.

• Experience
in object-oriented analysis and design.

• Experience
in developing cross-platform code.

• Experience
building scalable systems with very high levels of concurrency and
transactions.

• Experience
with XML and SOAP or web services.

• Programming
experience with C/C , SQL, Perl would be a plus

• Familiarity
with Velocity, Eclipse, Tomcat, ANT,Jabber, and open source technologies a plus
