Sony Latin America has an opening for a Sr. Analyst E-commerce. The primary role is efficient application management of e-commerce and related web sites for the Retail business domain. This particular position will be focused on E-Commerce and Online Marketing Communications. Application management refers to platform stability, understanding business needs, and proposing suitable solutions aligned to IS strategy.

Responsibilities include:

Deliver business requirements through strong technical and functional knowledge.
*
Strong coordination with off shore technical team and business users is required to assess business needs, prioritize them, and perform feasibility studies to propose appropriate technical and functional solutions.
*
Ensure exiting platforms perform to required business expectations.
*
Additional responsibilities and/or platforms may be added as required.
*
Java, ATG, SQL, or other technical experience within the e-commerce division

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Equivalent
*
5 years of technical functional experience in web technologies required
*
3 years of web site management experience working on large scale projects required
*
Working experience or exposure to business in Latin America a strong plus
*
Specific application and/or domain knowledge of E-Commerce and Online Marketing
*
Experience or working knowledge of Customer Relationship tools and/or platforms such as ATG, Magnolia, etc. (or similar).
*
Experience deploying technology solutions that encompass front-end, middleware, back-office automation and real time services.
*
Good understanding and experience working with website Security and PCI compliance
*
Broad knowledge on CRM especially in integration of customers, e-commerce and marketing areas
*
Ability to work with technical teams as well as non-technical business users and senior management.
*
Working knowledge of Business processes related to Sales & Marketing (specifically internet based).
*
Knowledge of B2C tools on the market
*
Bilingual in English/Spanish both written and verbal is required
*
Bilingual in English/Portuguese both written and verbal is preferred
