Description  Leads organization as a Clinically Integrated Organization (CIO).  Conduct analysis of managed care trends, activities, and opportunities; provide consultation to SSM entities and Physician's Health Organizations (PHOs); negotiate contracts on behalf of SSM entities and PHOs; supervise contracting staff.  Position Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Business or Healthcare Administration. Master's Degree preferred.  Five years in managed care contracting.  Knowledge of the principles of managed health care and managed care contracts.  Knowledge of personal computers. Ability to interpret data and communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.  Excellent negotiating techniques.  Ability to lead staff during meetings in an effective manner.  Ability to work cohesively with other people.  Demonstrated supervisory, leadership, and general management decision making skills.
