Description  Perform all of the tests in a single department or majority of the procedures in all areas of the laboratory as required. The position requires an Associate Degree from an accredited Junior or Community College or other recognized institution granting an associate degree for Medical Laboratory Technician. Requires a Certification as a MLT by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP), OR Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) by the National Certification Agency for Medical Laboratory Personnell (NCA), OR certification by other nationally recognized certifying agency acceptable to the Laboratory Director, OR one of the above cerfications obtained within 18 months of hire.
