Our Neuroscience Publication Department has an opportunity for a Manager to join our team! Manages all aspects of academic publishing and media projects, including Barrow website, and works with key internal stakeholders to promote the strategic academic mission of Barrow Neurological Institute while meeting all operational standards. Complex, abstract problem-solving capabilities to ensure excellence of professional academic documents and media projects. Demonstrated ability to edit highly technical material. Demonstrated ability to independently direct, develop, plan and deliver projects. Demonstrated ability to manage editorial, production, and media staff. Ability to interface with internal and external partner and key stakeholders. Outstanding writing skills. Complex, abstract problem-solving capabilities to ensure excellence of professional academic documents and media projects. This position is critical to the success of St. Joseph"s Hospital Medical Center and requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Dignity Health. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 5 years experience directing, developing, planning and delivering projects. Demonstrated ability to lead editorial, production, and media staff. Ability to interface with internal and external partners and key stakeholders. Proven track record of publications and/or editorial expertise Background in neuroscience or related biomedical field. Education: BA/BS in neuroscience or related biomedical field required. Master"s Degree preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills for internal coordination and external image. Strong analytical abilities, organization and project/process management skills. Ability to manage and complete multiple projects simultaneously within strict deadlines in fast-paced environment without compromising quality or accuracy. Must understand a broad spectrum of neuroscientific, biomedical, and clinical research and statistics at a moderately complex level. Demonstrated ability to manage, develop, plan, and deliver projects independently. High level of initiative. Proven track record of related publications or editorial projects.
