About This Position

Provides patient care including evaluating patitient, developing plan of care, establishing goals, and assessing progress toward the attainment of goals. Consults with other health care disciplines to coordinate treatment and discharge planning. Leads patient care program development while also delivering patient services. Assists in development and review of policies and procedures. Leads and mentors staff development, by serving as a resource, sharing expertise and knowledge.Leads patient care program development while delivering patient care using advanced and specialized techniques that have been validated by internationally and nationally recognized entities. Minimum Requirement: 5+ years of progressive experience in an area of clinical expertise and objectively demonstrates advanced skills as evidenced by the following: 1. Experience treating complex, unique, and specialized disorders effectively, 2. Experience training other clinicians in a specialty area or technique, 3. Completion of a MINIMUM of one of the following: (a) Non-Entry level certification by a nationally or internationally recognized professional organization/academy, (b) Author of a recognized Advanced Competency/Program, (c) Successful completion of a recognized Advanced Competency/Program Preferred Experience: Advanced credentials by a recognized entity and Clinical specialization.
