About This Position

Join us now as our Social Work Services Department has an opportunity for an Inpatient Social Worker - PRN to join our team! Provides psychosocial assessment, discharge planning/coordination, community referrals, crisis intervention and supportive counseling. Position is the primary discipline for complex discharge coordination to lower levels of care, determining referrals for abuse and neglect of adults and children, assessing and coordinating services for psychiatric/suicidal patients, and determining safe discharges for vulnerable newborns, children, and adultsMedical or hospital social work, either post-masters or supervised internship Medical or hospital social work, either post-masters or supervised internship

This position is critical to the success of St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center and requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Dignity Health.

REQUIREMENTS: Masters Degree in Social Work from an accredited university. LMSW or LCSW license from the AZ Board of Behavioral Health Examiners.
