Steve Welch for Senate Internship Description

As an intern on Steve Welchs U.S. Senate Campaign, you will play a role in electing Steve Welch to the United States Senate while experiencing the inner workings of a statewide campaign.

Interns may be assigned to one of three campaign shops:

Political
Finance
Communications

This will be determined based on each applicants skill sets and interests.

Where an intern is assigned will determine which activities they may be asked to perform.
These include, but are not limited to:

Political:
1) Helping to coordinate events around the Commonwealth
2) Volunteer Recruitment
3) Voter Outreach

Finance:
1) Support finance staff in organizing and executing fundraising events
2) Maintain donor correspondence and database
3) Field calls and relay intelligence to appropriate staff

Communications:

1) Monitoring video and news clippings
2) Occasional researching duties
3) Fielding and directing press calls
