Weld parts to conform to the specifications prescribed in welding to meet standard requirements as proposed by government regulations.
? Performs diversified and difficult welding and hand torching or cutting operations and hand layout of components parts.
? Weld components and units as specified by layout, diagram, work order, welding procedures, and oral instructions to the appropriate size and type of weld, proper strength, and neat appearances.
? Will assist the foreman with setups, first part inspection, labor reporting and other related duties when required.
? Will produce quantity of parts to meet or exceed company requirements.
? Will rigorously follow safety procedures, including cleaning and maintaining work area and machines.
? Duties include setting-up and/or operating a ?robot? welder.
? Perform other related or similar duties as assigned.
