Our major biotech client is looking for an Associate Research Scientist for an 11 month position in San Francisco, CA.

Position Description:
- The Associate Scientist, under minimal supervision will perform in vitro ADME assays and drug metabolism studies, e.g. plasma protein binding, in vitro metabolic stability and metabolite identification.
- Specific responsibilities include design of experimental protocols and procedures; sample preparation, analytical method development, and LC-MS/MS analysis, data analysis and generation of preliminary study report.

Requirements:
- Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or a related field with 3 to 8 years relevant laboratory experience using LC-MS/MS.
- Additional requirements include proven ability to operate and troubleshoot triple-quadrupole mass spectrometers, good analytical skills, and basic knowledge of pharmacokinetics and drug metabolism.
- The successful candidate will possess good verbal, written communication skills, have good problem solving and scientific skills.
